Hackers and Crackers, works by web artists internet - projects, video-performance

Within the framework of the educational program entitled Topical Art. 20th - 21st centuries, organized with support from the Center of Modern Art (St Petersburg), the Hermitage's Youth Educational Center will host an international project of Internet and Computer Art called Unauthorized Access: Hackers and Crackers.

More than 100 international projects of Internet art, a session of unauthorized access online and a mediaperformance by Sergey Teterin will be featured.

The strategies of unauthorized games in the Internet have long become a part of the modern global art culture. The Unauthorized Access project is an attempt to introduce them into the context of a classical museum.

There will be meetings with Anna Frants, Abraham Lubelski, Jolanta Gora-Wita (New York), who are widely known in the world of media artists and curators.
