The State Hermitage Museum presents a new program especially for lovers of painting and music Meetings with the Museum's Masterpieces in the Halls of the Hermitage. Seated in comfortable chairs in front of a famous painting, you will hear its story from a specialist in art history, as well as pieces of music from the era when the painting was created; this music is full of the very same moods, thoughts and feelings that went into the creation of this masterpiece of painting. Art historians and soloists from the Orchestra of the State Hermitage Museum will participate in these meetings.
An evening in the Snyders hall. Alla Vladimirovna Kamchatova, an art historian and employee of the State Hermitage Museum, will describe the work of this great master. An Ensemble of Soloists from the Orchestra of the State Hermitage Museum will perform European baroque music.
