There are ATM's and currency exchange facilities in the Winter Palace: in the Main Vestibule and in the vestibule of the Commandant Entrance.

If you wish to purchase entrance tickets, to visit the cafe or to make purchases in the shops and kiosks of the State Hermitage, you may use the currency exchange point which is situated in the cloakroom on the first floor of the Winter Palace. The administrative staff who are permanently on duty in the Main Vestibule will show you the way.

For those who have credit or debit cards there are ATM's where you can withdraw cash in rubles. This can be useful since the cafe and some of the shops do not accept payment by credit card.
