Themed tours for adults
Our series of themed tours and artist tours/discussions give visitors
the opportunity to reach a deeper level of familiarity with the history
of world art, the various forms it has taken, and the unique features
of artistic movements.
Subscriptions are available for both organized groups and individual visitors.

Themed meetings
The State Hermitage Museum invites its guests to meetings with its own
specialists, famous Petersburg artists, employees of domestic and foreign
museums, artists, designers, and musicians.

Special programs
These programs include visits to exhibits, the museum's holdings, concerts,
and meetings with specialists. One can become acquainted with the Hermitage,
as well as its history and collection, in the morning, before the official
opening of the museum, or in the evening, after its official closing.
Programs may be tailored to the client's wishes.

Themed tours for children, school-aged and younger
Themed tour programs can bring children into the world of art, teach them
to understand its language, and familiarize them with famous artifacts
of world culture from the Hermitage collection. Subscriptions are available
for both organized school groups, and parents and their children.

Lectures for adults
The history of art from ancient times to our own era is explored in lectures
by Hermitage employees in the museum Lecture hall.
Lectures for children
Our two lecture series for parents and young school-aged children, entitled
"The Art Around Us" and "Myth and Legend in Fine Art,"
will familiarize visitors with the primary types and genres of fine art,
periods in the history of architecture, and mythological and religious
themes in art.
