The State Hermitage Museum’s Treasure Gallery
The Gold and Diamond Rooms

The Treasure Gallery is based mainly on the extremely rich collection of works of jeweller’s art owned by the Russian Imperial family. The two sections of the Gallery will acquaint visitors with masterpieces of jewellery from various countries, belonging to different cultures and epochs, from ancient times to the early 20th century. 

On display in the Gold Rooms are works by Ancient Greek masters, Scythian gold articles and Oriental jewellery from India, Iran and China, as well as superb examples of ceremonial Oriental weapons.

In the Diamond Rooms one can see ancient gold items, masterpieces of jeweller’s art from Western Europe and Russia, jewellery from the collections of members of the Romanov family and private collections from St Petersburg, as well as pieces of church art, diplomatic gifts to the Russian Imperial Court and works by the Faberge company.

Entrance tickets are on sale at the Museum Booking-Offices on the day of visit.

Cost of an entrance ticket for each exhibition is 300 roubles.
(Entrance ticket to the Treasure Gallery is valid only with an entrance ticket for the State Hermitage Museum).
Guided visits only, according to schedule.

Opening hours of the Treasure Gallery:

Tuesdays Saturdays: 11 a.m. 16 p.m.
Sundays:        11 a.m. 15 p.m.
Closed on Mondays
