The necklace consists of ten circle pendants, convex on the obverse and flat on the reverse, and ten oval beads threaded on a thick silver wire. The pendants are decorated with X-shaped figures made up of small hollow hemispheres, and a triangle design in granulations. Filigree, granulations and tiny rings made of strips of metal decorate the beads.

The Shalakhovo Hoard, consisting of objects decorated with granulations, was buried some time during the second half of the 11th century.
