This collection covers the 15th to 19th centuries, mainly including works of applied and decorative art. One outstanding piece is a bronze cup inlaid with gold and silver, bearing an inscription with the name of Sultan Murad II (1421-1451); the textiles includes pile carpets, silk and velvet from Bursa; ceramics from many artistic centers in Turkey; and a superb collection of weapons, battle tents and military standards.
