Exhibition of Children's Drawings
We are Painting in the Hermitage

27 December, 2003 - February, 2004

On 27 December, 2003, in the foyer of the Hermitage Theater was opened an annual exhibition of children's drawings. The exhibition is traditionally called We are Painting in the Hermitage. This report of what has been done by the Art Studio during the last year is dedicated to the anniversary of our city.

The life of St. Petersburg over centuries is associated with the history of the Winter Palace as the Russian Imperial Residence and the Hermitage as the world's major museum. Among creations which express the modern child's emotions and interests are many drawings about the history of the palace and its royal inhabitants, the museum of the Hermitage and the city of St. Petersburg whose history children know very well.

Among many other exhibitions, both charitable events and competitions, held in St. Petersburg and abroad, this one is the most important for the Art Studio.
