Fyodor Tyutchev: Russia and Europe

Fyodor Tyutchev’s bicentennial has been put by UNESCO on the 2003 list of memorial dates. The exhibition Fyodor Tyutchev: Russia and Europe on show in the State Historical Museum in Moscow for the first time so fully represents the personality and achievement of one of the most remarkable figures in the Russian public life of the 19th century.

The exhibition is co-organized by many museums and institutes of Russia. The Hermitage loaned paintings, watercolors and lithographs by West European artists.
