Masters of the Sevillian Baroque in the Hermitage
25 September 2001 - 18 November 2001

On 25 September 2001 an exhibition of Sevillian Baroque Masters from the State Hermitage in one of the halls of the Cultural Centre belonging to the El Monte Foundation in the Spanish city of Seville. The exhibition consists of four works: two canvases by Murillo - Boy with a Dog and Rest on the Flight into Egypt, one work by Velazquez - A Man's Head in Profile and one by Zurbaran - The Girlhood of the Virgin.

The El Monte Foundation has produced an illustrated catalogue of the exhibition.

The "Masters of the Sevillian Baroque in the Hermitage" exhibition runs in Seville until 18 November 2001, then it moves to Madrid where it will be shown in the museum of the San Fernando Royal Fine Arts Academy from 3 December 2001 to 31 January 2002.
