Magritte. Paintings from American and European Collections

This retrospective exhibition of the renowned Belgian surrealist artist R. Magritte was arranged by the Menil Collection, Houston, USA, with the assistance of Retretti OY Ltd. The exhibition presented twenty eight paintings and two sculptures selected from the artist's vast heritage scattered around the world. R. Magritte produced over 1,000 paintings, numerous drawings, watercolours, collages, magazine's covers and sculptures. The exhibition introduced us to Magritte's works created from 1925 to 1967. Russian museums timed this exhibition to the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth.
