We Are Drawing in the Hermitage
December 1998 - January 1999

As usual the Hermitage held its annual exhibition of children's drawings in the foyer of the Hermitage Theatre. For the pupils of the Hermitage Drawing Class (over 100 children from 5 to 11 years old) this exhibition was the most important event of the year, bringing with it the opportunity to display the best of their works in Russia's most famous museum.

For the exhibition opening, the children organised a New Year celebration in the Hermitage Theatre, with a show based on tales from Greek mythology, the history and life of the Museum and its collections.
