Ivan Tolstoy - Collector

This collection of coins and medals was presented to the Hermitage by the St. Petersburg collector, Ivan Tolstoy (1858-1916), in 1916. The more than 600 pieces are dated from the 10th to the 18th centuries. This is one of the largest collections of Russian coins and medals.
