2011: The Organizing Committee on preparation
and holding of the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the State
Hermitage Museum foundation is set up

On 21 September 2011 the first meeting of the Steering Committee to organize and hold celebrations for the 250th anniversary of the Hermitage was held at the State Hermitage.
