The Youth Educational Centre of the State Hermitage Museum is a new museum space where experimental educational and cultural programmes for the students of St. Petersburg and other Russian cities as well as foreign countries are created. The Centre was formed in the beginning of the 3rd millennium, in 2001, in the eastern wing of the General Staff building which became a part of the Hermitage complex.
