The computer class of the Schools Centre develops educational multimedia programs using modern computer technology.

The many years' experience of Hermitage research staff in working with children is used in the creation of educational courses.

The Computer Class offers children and their parents:

• multimedia programs on a range of topics which can be viewed in the Hermitage Educational Centre;
• distance-learning courses based of the museum's collections, on the Hermitage Internet site, in the Learning and Education section;
• multimedia educational programs about art on CD-ROM that can be purchased in the museum shops.
