Among the activities of the Youth Center are 'round table' discussions, conferences, international meetings, and master classes intended for both specialists and the broad spectrum of visitors to the museum; training programs; and joint projects with other museums such as exhibitions, scholarly and popular publications, multimedia programs, etc.

The program called 'Cinema Education in the Hermitage' is being implemented within the context of the Youth Center.
