The Hermitage Student Club is an informal association of young people of university age, a meeting place for those who want to be in the avant-garde of intellectual life in the museum and the city. At the heart of the club there are special thematic sections which are led by staff researchers from the Hermitage. The sections have been created in conformity with the interests of students at St Petersburg's institutions of higher learning. In addition to sections set up to pursue specific programs, all members of the Club can participate in activities relating to temporary exhibitions, meetings with specialists, open discussions, concerts, masquerade events, and much more.
