Meetings with students are attended by renowned representatives of the art intelligentsia, public figures and museum staff. The Youth Educational Center hosts international festivals devoted to the history and traditions of various countries.

Program "Festival of World Culture at the Youth Educational Center"

The program introduces students studying in St Petersburg to the culture, history and traditions of peoples of the world and forms a holistic concept of countries, and through meetings, video demonstrations and master classes enables the creation of an atmosphere of national identity.

Program "Hermitage-Hermitagers. Unexpected perspective"

The program's goal is to introduce St Petersburg youth to various aspects of the life of the Hermitage, one of the world's largest museums. Meetings and talks with staff significantly deepen the students' knowledge of the nature of museum work, and the staff's enthusiasm for this work, talents and knowledge help build an image of the Hermitage among youth as the center of contemporary cultural life.

Program "VIP guests of the Youth Educational Center"

Students have an opportunity to meet "very important guests" of the Youth Educational Center - famous cultural figures, representatives of St Petersburg intelligentsia, exhibition curators and organizers, foreign experts in arts and diplomats working in St Petersburg. Sometimes an invited guest can meet students not only at the Hermitage but elsewhere, for example, in his/her studio.
