4:00 p.m. - Danila Frants, workshop for children MINECRAFT: THE
CREEPER'S EXPLODING POPULARITY
The Minecraft game was originally a game from Notch and Mojang, consisting
of blocks that created a three dimensional world. At the beginning, the
player had to build a shelter in order to protect himself from monsters,
but now players use Minecraft's three dimensional blocks to create works
of art; architecture, huge statues, etc. The presentation will be held
at matcatsmp.com, one of the servers that have embraced the user-created
modules that have totally transformed Minecraft. This particular server
is an exact replica of an actual society, including an economic system
which requires a logical approach to participate in. A virtual art exhibit
will be included in this presentation.
