MUTATIS MUTANDIS
BUILD AND REBUILD YOUR OWN SCULPTURE!

Workshop by Alexander Reichstein.
Alexander Reichstein was born in 1957 in Moscow. Since 1990, he has lived and worked in Finland. This artist creates sculptural installations. Intended for various levels of understanding, they unite the popular and the elite, audience of different ages and tastes. The playful character of the installation is blended with the serious philosophical, historical and mythological meaning behind his exposition.
At the Mutatis Mutandis project, as at Reichstein's other projects, the public will be given the role of an active participant, turning the exhibition into a continuous performance. Becoming coauthors, visitors create unbelievable images out of the forms offered by the artist.

This exhibit will include a series of events:
December 1st, 5:00 p.m.: the opening of the project.
December 3rd, 1:00 p.m.: master class for students of Saint Petersburg's institutions of higher learning and for parents with children (signup required)
