5 August 2010 within the framework of the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Korea specially for children from orphanages and disabled children the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and the International Petersburgers' Club organized a charitable event to participate in which volunteers were invited. Volunteers not only received guests and escorted them to the exhibition Wind in the Pines… 5000 years of Korean Art but also helped children to enjoy the celebration by giving them memorable gifts after the concert of the Beautiful Mind group at the Hermitage Theater. The participants were able to express their wishes to the first laureates of a new award The Heavenly Line: to Mikhail Piotrovsky, Alexander Sokurov and Vyacheslav Zarenkov.

21 July - 2 August 2010 the cultural-educational program World Heritage & Youth - WHY 2010 dedicated to the role of youth in preservation of the cultural heritage. Among the participants of this summer camp were the winners of a special competition that has been held for the second time by Rosatom Corporation. Representatives of more than ten Russian cities helped the museum's departments, participated in archaeological excavations in the Summer Garden, met with specialists in the field of preservation of the cultural heritage, with famous architects and teachers. Within the program's framework children saw the projects of creating an archaeological museum complex at the Okhotinsky cape, along with its authors-students of art and architectural institutions of higher education of St Petersburg participated in master classes, learnt about problems of museumification of archaeological monuments, learnt about the prospects of development of museum construction in Russia and worldwide. At the end of the program young people presented projects devoted to the activities of the Volunteers' Service and timed to its 7.5th anniversary.

25 June 2010 the 5th International Charitable Official Reception at the Winter Palace. On one of the hot June nights the traditional charitable Gala-Reception was held at the Hermitage. Volunteers received guests at the airport, distributed invitations, helped to implement special exhibition projects. On the reception night volunteers eagerly oriented guests in endless halls of the Hermitage and despite the unexpected pouring rain helped to keep the participants in a good mood in the courtyard of the Winter Palace, and at the end of the event they were honoured to give gifts to guests.

18 May 2010 The Museums' Night. Volunteers participated in the Museums' Night by helping organize the reception of guests at the Menshikov's Palace. In consideration of their help the Head Vladimir Mescheryakov introduced volunteers to an exciting collection of stoves and tiles, as well as a project of recreating a sculptural decor of the palace of the first Petersburg General-Governor.

25 April 2010 FOLLOWING OLYMPIC GODS, such was a name of a children's competition of computer works held by the Hermitage's volunteers in association with the Ancient Department, the School Center and the Educational Center of Computer Equipment. The competition was held from 1 February to 7 April 2010 and reached its climax on the Days of Classics that are annually held at the Hermitage during the Festival of the Ancient World. The best works were shown on the displays at the Hermitage halls. The winners award ceremony took place at the Hermitage Theater where the participants congratulated Mikhail Kozhukhovsky, the coordinator of the Volunteers' Service, on his anniversary, and after the official part were able to participate in an interactive game in the halls of the ancient world, listen to Greek music and learn to dance Greek dances.

27 March 2010 the March Cat Day. The annual celebration the MARCH CAT DAY organized by the Youth Center and prepared by the Hermitage's Volunteers' service was held at the Hermitage. Within the framework of the celebration the Cats' exhibition was held at the attic of the Winter Palace the way to which the guests could find by answering the QUEST's questions.

14 February 2010 volunteers celebrated the St Valentine's Day. The festive tea party was held at the Volunteers' Service's office which also celebrated the appearance of a new domain of the Volunteers' Service benevole.ru.
