The centre of the south wall of the Antechamber is occupied by a large mirror in a carved walnut frame created in Italy in the late 17th century, on a console table, also of walnut, that is decorated with carving. There too is a casket made in the second half of the same century. The casket is in effect a kind of mineral collection as was very popular at the time.
