forging, casting, chasing, woodcarving, gilding, weaving, embroidery

This carriage was produced in the Court Carriage Establishment in St Petersburg in 1856 for the formal entry into Moscow of the masters of ceremonies and marshal of the court during the coronation of Alexander II. The phaeton was also used for the coronations of Alexander III in 1883 and Nicholas II in 1896.
