This room contains exhibits from the museum's auxiliary teaching
collection that was created to aid the factory's craftsmen. The
collection includes Chinese and Japanese porcelain, Italian majolica
and Delft faience. Here too one can find items from private Russian
factories and works from the celebrated European centres - Sevrés,
Meissen, Berlin, Vienna and Copenhagen - received as gifts or purchased
abroad. The stocks of artistic glass include, beside remarkable
works by Russian masters, examples of the output of the foremost
European glassmakers: Emile Galle. the Daum brothers and Ernest
Leveillé.
