The display in this room includes items found during excavations of the burial mounds at Pazyryk - a burial site for the nobility of the nomadic tribes of the Altai mountains. Visitors' attention is drawn to the leather horse gear that consists of a mask with deer antlers that fitted over the horse's muzzle, a saddle decorated with an ornamented felt covering, and a tail bag. The adjoining display cases contain wooden bowls, a table with removable legs, leather flags and bags, and also harness ornament made in the Scythian-Siberian Animal Style. Of interest too is the tattoo on the skin of the tribal chieftain's arm depicting fantastic creatures.
