This display presents works by artists from Germany,
the USA, Mexico, Brazil and Italy. Among the German artists represented
are Campendonk, Scholz, Emsen and Grundig. The landscapes by the famous
American artist Rockwell Kent were created on the island of Greenland
in the early decades of the 20th century. North American art is also
represented by canvases of Maurer and Morris. The sculptures of Tebe
Falling by the Italian sculptor Giacomo Manzu and Stll Life
with a Watermelon by the Columbian artist Fernando Botero were
given to the Hermitage by their creators after personal exhibitions
in the museum. |
