Panorama of Italys Silent Cinema On 24-30 September, 2003, the Hermitage Youth Center hosted the Panorama of Italian Silent Films of the Early 20th Century. The event was organized by the Italian Consulate General, the St. Petersburg Cinema Museum and the State Hermitage Museum. Restored by the Italian studio "Recovered Picture", 13 films were showed in St. Petersburg to the accompaniment of live music. They included Carmine Gallones Fior di Male, Nino Oxilias Rapsodia Satanica, Gustavo Serenas Assunta Spina, Eugenio Peregos To See Naples and Die and History of a Woman, and some other films. |
