Student Day at the Hermitage

On 5 October, 2003, the Hermitage Theater hosted the traditional Student Day. Students were welcomed by Deputy Director G.V. Vilinbakhov. Research Assistant N.I. Tarasova told them about the jubilee exhibition “Founder of St. Petersburg” devoted to Peter I, which includes a unique collection of the Tsar’s memorabilia and personal belongings. Most of them have never been showed previously in permanent or temporary exhibitions.

The Boys’ Choir of St. Petersburg conducted by Vadim Pchelkin gave a concert.

Students were given exhaustive information on the Hermitage Student Club and met leaders of the Club’s groups.
