Late 19th century Icon on wood, semi-oval, with painting depicting St Panteleimon, in gilded silver frame with ornamentation of cloisonne enamel in pale tones. On the reverse, a silver plaque with engraved inscription. On the frame are two hallmarks: "Ï.ÎÂ×ÈÍÍÈÊÎÂ" and in an oval hallmark "84", plus a depiction of a head in profile facing left. |
