This is the main magazine of the main museum of the country, one of the biggest museums in the world. The magazine does not depend on the market, it is not targeted at the local art community, it has the only aim - to make everyone who takes the magazine into their arms a custodian df the treasures of the hermitage museum.

In the beginning of 2011, the magazine was recognized simultaneously by the judges of two prestigious international magazine contests: The Society of Publication Designers (SPD, New York) and D&AD Awards (London) as a great success in 2010, along with major international publications like The New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, etc.

In February 2012, the international expert council of the Russian design rating named the Hermitage magazine as the best in the "media design" category.
