We direct your attention to the newly launched Hermitage Magazine, a publication on culture and the arts.

In Hermitage Magazine we speak to our readers about everything: about history, the fine arts, literature, architecture, theatre, cinema, heraldry and interior design; about works from Antiquity and about contemporary art. We try to come to grips with what otherwise is lost in the fuss of vernissages or in a tourist's hasty race through the museum on a one-day visit. This is a periodical dealing with the abstract ideas and concrete objects, the global problems and the minutiać which are, strictly speaking, what culture consists of.

Hermitage Magazine features well-known writers and scholars whose names are recognized the world over, as well as the best photographers and art critics. It makes no difference for us where these people live, whether in Russia or far beyond the country's borders. The Hermitage as an institution always spoke about world culture and always was a part of the broader world.

Hermitage Magazine comes out 4 times a year in Russian and English language editions.
