Prize Giving Ceremony of the
Eighth PROBA-IPRA GWA Public Relations Awards On 14 December 2007, the traditional prize ceremony was held at the State Hermitage Museum to award the winners of the Eighth PROBA-IPRA GWA Public Relations Awards. The prize ceremony was opened at the Hermitage Theatre by director of the museum and chairman of the organizing committee Mikhail Piotrovsky and chairman of the contest jury and President of the Russian Public Relations Association Vladimir Medinsky. "This is not the first time we have held the PROBA and we always enjoy seeing young PR professionals working remarkably well throughout Russia doing a very good and useful job," said Mikhail Piotrovsky. "I wish all the competitors enormous success, courage, and commitment to their selected path, for this path is a very thorny and challenging one. Culture will always help you to find a way through this complex field of our life where you have to move forward and always be at the cutting edge because public relations is always in the limelight." "The PROBA-IPRA-GWA unites current and potential leaders in the industry. Both nominees and judges are top class professionals who are not indifferent to the future of Russian PR," said Vladimir Medinsky. This competition is of particular value in that it gives Russian specialists the chance to reach an international audience since the works by the PROBA-IPRA GWA 2007 prize winners will be nominated for the international IPRA Golden World Awards." |
