The State Hermitage informs about the results of sound level measurements during the Alyje Parusa (Scarlet Sails) holiday celebration

26 June 2009, the press service of the State Hermitage spread thevfollowing message:

On the night of June 20 - 21, 2009 during the Alyje Parusa (Scarlet Sails) holiday of St Petersburg high school graduates celebration employees of the Engineering Department of the State Hermitage measured vibration, equivalent and maximum sound levels.

In accordance with measurements taken the range of equivalent sound level inside the museum was from 60.7 to 83.2 dB that corresponds to the acceptable values that should not exceed 85 dB.

This is the result of coordination work carried out by the State Hermitage and organizers of the celebration.
