Official Donation of BMW-7 Series vehicle to the State Hermitage by Aksel-Motors Company

6 July 2009, signing of the agreement for renewal of automobile park of the State Hermitage and for donation of BMW-7 Series vehicle to the museum by Aksel-Motors Company took place.

Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage, Christian Stephan Kremer, President of BMW Russland Trading Company, and Alexey Bezobrazov, Director General of Aksel-Motors Company, took part in the ceremony.

A new limousine BMW-7 series was given for disposal of the State Hermitage. Official donation took place at Palace Square in front of the main gates of the Winter Palace - Alexey Bezobrazov, Director General of Aksel-Motors Company, ceremonially passed new limousine BMW-7 series keys to Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage. Signing of the agreement for renewal of automobile park continues the programme of corporative cooperation between the State Hermitage and Aksel-Motors that started in May 2005 and ever since has become a good tradition.

The seventh series is a leader of BMW Company. Black sedans of the fifth BMW generation of the seventh series are equipped with in-line six-cylinder 245 horsepower engines. Integral system of active steering control allows controlling back wheel turning angle, hence, increasing safety, stability and comfort, especially for passengers at the rear seats. High-precision suspension system, engine control system, brakes and tyres as well as a set of electronic sensors serve one purpose - to preserve road-holding ability of the car even in the most difficult situations since maximum control means maximum safety. Spacious passenger compartment of extended version of BMW-7 series Sedan conforms to high status of its passengers in the best way possible. Additional 14 centimetres allowed expanding leg room for passengers at the rear seats, while updated design of roof edgings made additional over-head space. Individual seat position adjustment, additional options of conditioning system and rear seat entertainment system for the passengers implement state of the art technologies. The vehicles are equipped with BlueTooth technology telephones.


Aksel-Motors Company

The company was established in 1991, and since 1998 it has been an official dealer of German concern BMW. In 2007 one more auto sales centre of BMW and Mini vehicles called Aksel-Motors Sever Company was opened as a part of automobile holding company Aksel-group. During this period the companies became one of the best automobile centres for sales and services of these brands.
