The State Hermitage informs about the publication of the photographs of 12 exhibits that have been on the wanted list since summer, 2006
Silver cigar case Moscow, 1880s Silver cigar case, rectangular, with a hinged lid, decorated with multicolored enamel in a stylized vegetal pattern; gilted background with metalworking in the kanfar technique. On the lid there is an overlaid element with silver monogram. The back side has a section for matches with hinged lid. On the opposite side there is a wick. Hallmarks: "شخ"; "84" and the emblem of the city of Moscow. |
