Icon of the Virgin and Child of Ozeryana

Second half of the 19th century

Icon on panel with a depiction of the Virgin and Child of Ozeryansk in silver gilded setting with silver raised oxidized riza with a laid-on double halo with a crown in multi-coloured cloisonne with silver inscriptions and letters in blue enamel; the back side is upholstered in crimson velvet. On the setting there are two identifying marks: "رأ" and in the oval - 84 hallmark and an image of a female head in profile to the right.
