The State Hermitage informs about the publication of the photographs of 12 exhibits that have been on the wanted list since summer, 2006

Icon of Christ Pantocrator

End of the 19th century

Icon on panel The Pancrator is in silver solid partially gilded chased setting with carvings of the face and hands, with silver gilded halo decorated with multi-coloured cloisonne; in the corners of the long sides of the setting there are figured silver gilded plates also with multi-coloured enamel; underneath there is a silver plank with inscription in blue enamel, the same inscription is on the gospel; the back side is upholstered in crimson satin. On the setting there are two identifying marks: "رت" and in the rectangular - 84 hallmark and the coat of arms of Moscow
