Season Opening at the Hermitage Friends’ Club

On October 16, 2009, the State Hermitage Museum opened its 2009 - 2010 season. The meeting entitled Go East! was devoted to introducing the Oriental Department of the State Hermitage Museum. The program of the evening included a meeting with Dr. Natalia Kozlova, Head of the Oriental Department, visits to the new permanent display of the Japanese art in the museum and the temporary exhibitions of the Oriental Department guided by the curators of the Hermitage Educational Department.

We encourage everyone who is not yet a member of the Hermitage Friends’ Club to do so by joining before the event, which will provide your participation in all the exclusive events for the members of the Hermitage Friends’ Club only.
