29 June 2010, Mikhail Borisovich Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage Museum has been awarded honorary degree of Saratov State University named after Nikolay Chernyshevky.

Moverover, Mikhail Borisovich has also been awarded honorary degree of Saratov State Social and Economic University.
