1 April 2010 an official ceremony of awarding laureates of the Golden Bridge Prize was held at the Moscow residence of the ambassador of Italia. Famous politicians, men of art and businessmen were invited to this event.

The prize adopted by the embassy of the Republic of Italy in the Russian Federation and the ITA Publishing House with the support of Georgio Napolitano, President of Italy, is awarded for making a contribution to the development of Italian-Russian relations.

This year the prize was awarded to:
Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage; Galina Vishnevskaya, an outstanding singer; Yelena Gagarina, Director General of Moscow Kremlin Museums; Yekaterina Genieva, Director of the Rudomino All-Russian State Library of Foreign Literature and others.
