Intermuseum-2010 This year the main subject of the State Hermitage stand was determined by celebration of the 65th Victory Anniversary in the Great Patriotic War. The pivot has become a porcelain vase, made by the Imperial Porcelain factory especially for the Hermitage and displayed at the exhibition Intermuseum-2010, Spring of Victory, painted by a famous master, leading artist of the factory Nelli Petrova. The Victory of 1945 coincides with the Victory in the Patriotic War of 1812: the background for the vase is a panorama drawing of Palace Square with the Arch of the General Headquarters and the Alexander Column. The Hermitage introduced the story of the fate of the museum during years of warfare, about preservation of the world cultural heritage in blockade Leningrad and distant Sverdlovsk, where a considerable part of the collection was evacuated. This is evidenced by reproduction of the drawings lived and worked in the Hermitage in 1941-1942, books, including those, written by the staff of the Hermitage in the years of warfare, drawings of the students if the museum art studio, devoted to the Great Victory. Traditionally the State Hermitage introduced new scientific and popular science editions: monographies, catalogues of collections and exhibitions, leaflets... The specific interest was produced by books from the series "Guardian". Every day Roundtable Meetings of the State Hermitage staff with colleagues from Russian museums took place at the stand.
