Rewards to Research Assistants of the State Hermitage The research assistant of the State Hermitage Natalia Brodskaya was awarded with the Order of Arts and Literature by Minister of Culture and Communication of France Frederic Mitterrand in the Consulate General of France. Natalia Valentinovna was awarded for invaluable contribution to the art criticism and popularization of French art in Russia and France. Mr. Mitterrand noted that works of Natalia Brodskaya would compose the basis for a considerable part of material for the course of art history, which would be an obligatory subject in schools in France. The Giacomo Quarenghi Prize (Italy) 2010 was awarded to Sergey Androsov, Head of West European Fine Art Department. Sergey Olegovich was awarded with the Prize for strengthening of cultural relations between Italy and Russia, for numerous scientific works devoted to studying of Russian and Italian ties in culture and art, as well as for researches in history of Italian sculpture of the XV-XVIII centuries. |
