18 June, 2011 the State Hermitage held the press-conference on intermediate implementation results of the project for reconstructing of the East Wing of the General Staff building.

It was participated by Director of the State Hermitage Mikhail Piotrovsky, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Andrei Busygin and representatives of the World Bank management – Managing Director Ms. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Director of the Permanent Representation of the World Bank in the Russian Federation Mr. Pedro Alba.
