By efforts of the Museum Security Service and staff of the militia squadron in 2010 eleven people were detained on the roofs of the Winter Palace and General Staff Building, brought to the 79 Militia Department and were subjected to administrative liability.

Another person was detained and brought to trial for theft of a bronze eagle from the fence of the Alexander Column in December 2010.
Over seven months of 2011 already twenty people have been detained for penetration onto the roofs of the museum buildings and brought to the 79 Police Department. They have also been subjected to administrative liability.
