The 6th International Dialogue of Cultures Young Journalists’ Forum

From November 21st to 23rd, the 6th International Dialogue of Cultures Forum for the Young journalists of Eurasia was held in the Stage Hermitage Museum.
This international forum for the young journalists of Eurasia, which was held in 2011 in the Hermitage for the sixth time, was organized by the State Hermitage Museum and the “Eurasia Media Center”, with the support of the Intergovernmental Foundation for Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation, the Union of Russian Journalists, the Confederation of Journalists’ Unions, Russian Railways and the International Academy of Television and Radio.

Over 200 journalists from Russia, neighboring countries and beyond participated in the Forum.

The Forum was held in the format of a practical conference, where topics that are relevant to the international journalistic community, including such questions as promoting multiculturalism in the mass media and the creation of new media and multimedia, were discussed

As is traditional for the Dialogue of Cultures, master classes and round tables were held, as well as talent boutiques and laboratories, such as Above the Roofs of Saint Petersburg, which was led by the famous radio and television journalists A. Lysenko, I. Shadkhan, A. Venediktov, and A. Nosik.

The journalists participated in the press conference and opening for M.V. Lomonosov and the Elizabethan Era exhibition, which is one of the Hermitage’s most important exhibits in 2011.
The camera crews were given the opportunity to shoot in the “Old Village” restoration/preservation center and the exhibition halls of the State Hermitage Museum.
