The 10th International Festival The Musical Hermitage

On February 15, 2013, the Hermitage Theater, on the occasion of the opening of the 10th International Festival The Musical Hermitage, hosted a press conference dedicated to the upcoming 250-year anniversary of the Hermitage and the Year of the Netherlands in Russia and Russia in the Netherlands. The festival was organized by the State Hermitage Museum, the Hermitage Academy of Music and the Dutch Grachtenfestival (“Festival on the Canals”).

The participants in the press conference included the General Director of the State Hermitage Museum M.B. Piotrovsky, the General Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Saint Petersburg Jennes de Mol, the Art Director of the Festival S.N. Yevtushenko, the intendant of the Grachtenfestival (Amsterdam) Harm Witteveen, the cellist Lidi Bleidorp (Netherlands), the winner of the Grachtenfestival, conductor Luca Bizzozero (Switzerland).

The program of The Musical Hermitage concerts, which will be held in the Hermitage Theater from February 16 to 24 included works of classical and jazz music performed by Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Italian and Swiss musicians.
