Meeting of the Board of Creative Union of Museum Workers of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region

On March 29, 2013 the Council Hall of the State Hermitage Museum hosted a meeting of the Board of Creative Union of Museum Workers of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region.

The meeting discussed the following issues:

- The conceptual program for development of museum activities in the Russian Federation through 2020, developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation;

- Practical implementation of the Federal Law “On Amendments of Separate Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation Upon Adoption of New Legal Regulations Regarding State (Municipal) Establishments” in museums, overseen by the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg;

- Compliance with the provisions of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on approving the plan of events (the road map) “On changes in the social sphere to improve the effectiveness in the sphere of culture.”

The meeting was attended by M.B. Piotrovsky, General Director of the State Hermitage Museum and Chairman of the Creative Union of Museum Workers of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region, A.I. Kuzmin, Deputy Chairman, members of the Board and the Audit Commission of the Creative Union.
