Symposium. Andy Warhol

The International symposium was organized by the Saint Petersburg Foundation for Culture and Art "Institute PRO-ARTE", CEC-International Partners, the State Hermitage Museum with financial support of the "Trust for Mutual Understanding" and the Consulate-General of the USA in Saint Petersburg. The first day of the conference was devoted to the reports united by the common subject The Art of Andy Warhol: Painting and Silkscreen Process. Scientist, journalists and artists from the USA, Africa and Russia took part in the sittings of the symposium. At the end of the first day the film The Chelsea Girls screened by Andy Warhol was shown to the public.
The next day was devoted to the duscussion of the films by Andy Warhol.
