Jorge Sampaio, President of Portugal visited the State Hermitage

On October 28, 2001 President Jorge Sampaio of the Republic of Portugal and his spouse Maria Jose Ritta visited the State Hermitage during the President's state visit to the Russian Federation. The President and the members of the Portuguese delegation were given a tour by Vladimir Matveev, Deputy Director of the State Hermitage for Exhibitions and Development.
