Russian National Olympus Prize On 10 April, 2002, Russia Concert Hall in Moscow housed the 5th Russian National Olympus Prize Award Ceremony. The State Hermitage Museum won the Prize in Culture and Arts. The Prize is the only national public award in Russia given for the highest achievements in culture and business. It was founded by the Government of the Russian Federation, Russian Academy of Sciences, Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Third Millennium Social Development Foundation. The Olympus Jury includes 100 prominent politicians and public figures such as Gennady Seleznyov, Zhores Alferov, Aleksey Leonov, Valentina Tereshkova, Sergey Kapitsa, Mikhail Shvydkoy, Mayya Plisetskaya, Lyudmila Zykina, business moguls and governors of many regions of the Russian Federation. |
